Cheesy Baked Hot Dogs
Ingredients:
4 hot dog buns
4 hot dog sausages
1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
1/4 cup ketchup
1/4 cup mayonnaise (optional)
1/4 cup chopped onions (optional)
1 tsp butter (for toasting)
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the buns: Slice the buns open if needed and lightly spread butter on the insides.
Assemble the hot dogs: Place a sausage in each bun and add a drizzle of ketchup and mayonnaise. Sprinkle chopped onions for extra flavor.
Add cheese: Generously top each hot dog with shredded cheese.
Bake: Place the assembled hot dogs in a baking tray and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
Serve warm and enjoy with your favorite sides like fries or coleslaw!
