 Croissant Breakfast Sandwich



Ingredients:

2 buttery croissants


2 slices of ham


2 slices of Swiss or cheddar cheese


2 eggs


1 cup fresh lettuce or spinach


1 tbsp butter


Salt & pepper (to taste)


1/2 tsp dried herbs (thyme or oregano)


Instructions:

Prepare the croissants – Slice them in half and lightly toast them in a pan or oven for 2-3 minutes until warm and slightly crispy.


Cook the eggs – In a non-stick pan, melt butter and fry the eggs to your preferred doneness (sunny-side-up for a runny yolk). Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and herbs.


Assemble the sandwich – Layer the lettuce or spinach, ham, and cheese on the bottom half of each croissant.


Add the eggs – Place the fried egg on top and close the sandwich.


Serve with coffee – Pair with a hot cup of black coffee for the perfect breakfast experience.
