Ingredients (Serves 2):
2 English muffins (or brioche buns)
2 sausage patties (or beef patties)
4 slices of bacon
2 eggs
1 tomato, sliced and grilled
1 tbsp butter
2 slices cheddar cheese (optional)
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh herbs or pea shoots for garnish
Instructions:
Cook the Bacon & Sausage Patties:
Heat a pan over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside.
In the same pan, cook the sausage patties for about 4 minutes per side until golden brown. Add cheese on top if desired.
Grill the Tomatoes:
Slice the tomato and grill in the same pan for 2 minutes per side until slightly caramelized.
Fry the Eggs:
In a separate pan, melt butter over low heat. Crack the eggs and cook until the whites are set but the yolk remains runny. Season with salt and pepper.
Toast the English Muffins:
Lightly toast the muffins in the pan with butter for extra flavor.
Assemble the Burger:
Place a sausage patty on the bottom bun, add grilled tomato, crispy bacon, and top with a fried egg. Cover with the muffin top.
Serve & Enjoy:
Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot, optionally with a side of baked beans and crispy hash browns.
