Breakfast with a Twist



Ingredients (Serves 2):

2 beef liver slices (or steak)


2 pork or beef sausages


2 slices of back bacon


1 cup mushrooms, sliced


1 medium tomato, halved


2 eggs


½ avocado, mashed with salt & pepper


½ cup cheddar cheese, grated


1 tbsp butter or oil


Salt & black pepper to taste


Fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions:

Cook the Beef Liver/Steak:


Heat a pan over medium heat with a little oil or butter.


Season the liver/steak with salt and pepper, then cook for 2-3 minutes per side (for medium-rare steak) or 4-5 minutes for liver. Remove and set aside.


Grill the Sausages & Bacon:


In the same pan, cook the sausages over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.


Add the bacon and cook until crispy. Remove and set aside.


Sauté the Mushrooms & Grill the Tomatoes:


Add sliced mushrooms to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until golden brown.


Place the tomato halves face down in the pan and grill for 2-3 minutes.


Fry the Egg:


In a separate pan, heat a little oil or butter. Crack the eggs and fry them until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny.


Prepare the Avocado & Cheese:


Mash the avocado with salt and pepper.


Grate the cheddar cheese into small bowls for serving.


Assemble & Serve:


Arrange everything beautifully on a plate, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy your hearty breakfast!
