Savory Toast & Sweet Cake with Creamy Coffee

 


1. Mushroom & Tomato Egg Toast

Ingredients:


2 slices of baguette or crusty bread


2 eggs


1 tbsp milk (optional, for fluffier eggs)


1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved


1/4 cup mushrooms, sliced


Salt & pepper to taste


1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions:


Sauté tomatoes and mushrooms in olive oil until soft and slightly caramelized.


In a separate pan, scramble eggs with milk, salt, and pepper until just set.


Lightly toast the bread.


Layer scrambled eggs on toast, then top with the sautéed veggies.


2. Sponge Cake with Cream & Blueberries

Ingredients:


2 slices of plain sponge cake (store-bought or homemade)


Whipped cream (store-bought or homemade)


Fresh blueberries


Instructions:


Plate the sponge cake.


Add a dollop of whipped cream on the side.


Scatter blueberries over and around the cream.


3. Creamy Coffee

Ingredients:


1 cup brewed coffee


1/4 cup milk (or cream, as preferred)


Sweetener (optional)


Instructions:


Brew your coffee to your liking.


Heat the milk and froth it if desired.


Pour milk into coffee and stir in sweetener.
