South African Braai Plate:



 🥩 Grilled Lamb Chop

Ingredients:


2 lamb chops


1 tsp garlic powder


1 tsp paprika


1 tsp thyme


Salt & pepper


1 tbsp olive oil


Instructions:


Rub lamb chops with spices and olive oil.


Let marinate for 30 minutes.


Grill on high heat for 3–4 minutes per side (medium-rare) or longer if preferred.


🌭 Boerewors (South African Sausage)

Instructions:


Grill over medium heat for 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally.


Ensure it's cooked through but not dried out.


🍗 BBQ Chicken Wings

Ingredients:


6 chicken wings


Salt, pepper, garlic powder


Your favorite BBQ sauce


Instructions:


Season wings and grill until golden brown (about 20 minutes).


Baste with BBQ sauce in the final 5 minutes.


🌽 Grilled Corn on the Cob

Instructions:


Boil corn for 5 minutes, then grill until lightly charred.


Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt.


🥗 Creamy Cucumber Salad

Ingredients:


1 cucumber, sliced


Handful cherry tomatoes, halved


½ red onion, thinly sliced


¼ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt


Salt, pepper, dash of vinegar


Instructions:


Combine ingredients in a bowl and mix well.


Chill before serving.


🫘 Chakalaka with Baked Beans

Ingredients:


1 onion, chopped


1 green pepper, chopped


2 grated carrots


1 can baked beans in tomato sauce


1 tsp curry powder


Salt & pepper to taste


Instructions:


Sauté onion and pepper in oil.


Add carrots and curry powder; cook for 5 mins.


Stir in baked beans, simmer for 10 mins.
