Ingredients:
8 lamb chops
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp fresh rosemary (chopped)
1 tbsp fresh thyme (chopped)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder (optional, for extra heat)
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar or lemon juice (for tenderness)
Instructions:
Prepare the Lamb Chops:
Pat the lamb chops dry with a paper towel.
In a small bowl, mix salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, chili powder, rosemary, and thyme.
Rub the spice mixture evenly onto both sides of the lamb chops.
Drizzle with balsamic vinegar or lemon juice and let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Sear the Chops:
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add olive oil and butter to the pan.
Once hot, add the lamb chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until a dark crust forms.
Add minced garlic in the last minute for extra flavor.
Rest and Serve:
Remove the lamb chops from the pan and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve with roasted potatoes, grilled vegetables, or a side of mint sauce.
